No internet

Afternoon,
Woke up this morning to no WiFi. (Devices showing connected without internet).
We have Fibre 150 and the black home hub. The LAN, DSL lights are blinking on the Openreach modem but no internet light. Phone line works.
Have been through all the line tests and troubleshooting and an engineer is booked for Tuesday.
Any one know what the problem is likely to be? What will the engineer do?
Thanks.
(Sorry- I'm rather impatient and hate not knowing how to fix things!)

Morning @VGJ70
That's great 🙂
I've checked and I can see that the fault has been closed on Openreach's system.
If you do experience any further issues then please let us know.
Thanks
Debbie

Yes, it is.

See what TalkTalk detect when they test your line, hopefully tomorrow.

Hi Keith,
Connection has restored in the last half an hour (haven't done anything for this to happen).
I was thinking of waiting until the morning and if still all okay, cancelling the engineer appointment ( booked for Tuessday) then. Do you think that sounds like a reasonable plan?

No worries, I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.
They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, have had the Openreach and router off for approximately 30 minutes- twice- with no joy. Unfortunately, my laptop doesn't have an ethernet port.

Have you tried turning the Openreach ONT off for at least 30 mins?
Do you have a laptop or similar with an Ethernet port on it, that you could try connecting to the ONT, in place of your router? If so, what happens there?
