MY Router is a Huawei DG9041W. Some weeks ago the Green indication light vanished. Checking my speed for receipt and delivery is correct and otherwise all appears well. My concern is does this indicate a pending further fault? There may be some connection with recent events: The Water Board while laying a new main have caused 3 breakages to the electricity supply to a number of homes in my area. May re-connection have caused some electrical surge to damage the LED indicator light?
By chance our area has a loss of BB service for a few hours only days ago. The indicator light started to flash 'red' until service restored but still no green light.
Thank you.

May be due to my advanced years but it looked green to me. Whatever, it's missing and not helpful thank you.

On the DG8041W the light should never be green, only white, amber or red. A steady white light is normal.
