Weak Wi-Fi keeps dropping

Hi - I have tried twice through online chats to resolve Wi-Fi dropping issues, buffering on tv and slow tv app loading without success. I have requested a replacement for my quite old router but have been told a Wi-Fi booster & extender will resolve the problem.  I have bought one from Argos and it has made no difference at all.  I see other community members have the same issue and they have had new routers sent out promptly so why have I been told I will have to pay for a replace t?

Hi Jonem

The replacement router is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

Let us know how the connection compares with this router.

Thanks

That would be great - I think it’s the only

option left to try. Thank you for listening and making an effort to resolve  my issues.

Hi again,

I can send a replacement router (wifi hub) to see how this compares, would this be ok?

Thanks

Hi Jonem,

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with your service. Line test is passing, sync speed looks good and connection looks stable. Is it only devices connected to your router by wifi that are affected? Do you have any devices connected to your router by Ethernet cable?
