Additional eero?

states:

"If you've moved your eeros around and you're still not getting coverage everywhere you need it, you might need more eeros in your home network.  Message our live chat team to request additional eeros for your home."

Unfortunately, "message our live chat team" brings up a chat with a BOT which is, frankly, utterly useless.  There must be a better way to arrange this than putting your customers through a frustating battle with Artificial Stupidity.

So, please, how do I go about getting an additional eero from you?

Thanks.

"I can send you another eero pro 6 free of charge to test with, to see if it improves coverage and meets your needs"

I have very little doubt that it will meet my needs and think that testing is unnecessary.  I assume that I would have to send it back to you.  Do you sell these to your customers, and if so how much do you charge for them (it's currently £189 on Amazon, which is way over the top just to use it as an extender, imho)?

I think I might just pick up one of the following which are currently on offer (at prices I can just about stomach).

Wifi 6 eero extender at Amazon Black Friday

Wifi 5 eero router at Amazon Black Friday

Thanks again for your and Keith's help

Hi @surfer777

You would be well advised to accept this offer & create a mesh network. No other extenders will do the job with an eero.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for getting back to me and thanks for the offer.

In case it wasn't obvious from my first post, I am finding that the wifi signal from my eero isn't reaching some parts of my home.  Considering the distance and numerous obstructions this is not unexpected.

Usually, I would just get an extender, something like this.  However, I'm unsure whether it'll work with the eero, and I was considering this instead, but find the price to be rather high.

Adding to the confusion is the TalkTalk web page I linked to in my original post which recommends getting in touch with TalkTalk to request an additional eero but provides no further detail.  What I'd like to know is which eero product you would supply to extend my network and what would it cost me.

Thanks for that @surfer777 this should be easy to resolve in that case. I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and sort this for you.

They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.

Was your Full Fibre provided by Openreach, CityFibre or another company?
