Being Charged For Copper Landline Service Despite Renewing on Fibre Only

I received an e-mail stating: "As you haven’t taken any action from the previous communications we have sent you, we are writing to confirm that your bill is increasing by £12 per month for your copper landline service. You will see this change on your bill on or after 06/02/2025."

 

I contacted TalkTalk for the specific reason of removing the copper landline, and they offered an upgrade and renewal offer, which I have taken and has occurred in the past 2 weeks... so it's extremely frustrating to see "you haven't taken action" when I've committed myself to 2 more years! If somebody could investigate this, it would be greatly appreciated; I have the chat logs from the date that I opted out of Copper Line and upgraded if they are needed. Thanks!

Hi jochu

 

You do have a landline service also know as  "copper leave behind service" which retains your landline number. So call the loyalty team again  on 03451720088 as there is no cancellation order for the landline service
