Hello,
I am trying to reach out to talktalk to enquire about renewal offers for my fibre 500 data only contract which is coming to and end on 20th October but the phone numbers I'm calling (0345 172 0088 & 0345 172 0074) keep automatically hanging up after apparently not recognising my personal phone number hence I cannot speak to a human. The phone number I'm typing is identical to the one registered on my account under "my details and settings". Any ideas what I can do to speak to a human?
If I cannot get through to a human I will need to sign up to another service and if the service continues as a rolling contract I'll need to cancel my direct debit - would this have any repercussions? or is there another way to send a 30 days notice?
Thanks,

That number is not a customer facing number, I have removed it
All renewals have to go through the customer loyalty team.

Spoke to live chat and I've managed to contact cityfibre's hotline team about it via**removed** if anyone else is with cityfibre and having similar issues with the talktalk phone numbers I've put above.

I have tried this - it makes no difference
Next two questions are:
Please enter your postcode & What's the account holders surname
Which I respond to, and then it automatically hangs up after about 2 seconds.

You can't identify yourself by a phone number if you have a Data Only service. Ignore that prompt and see what happens next.
