Hi.
Today my router shows a constant orange light. No connections possible. Reset, left for several minutes, rebooted still same problem. Checked all cables and connections. Unplugged then and popped back in. Rebooted, still same problem. Requested a line check via talk talk, states no issues.
Really stuck now and need to get back online a quicky.
Any support greatly appreciated.

A factory reset is required on your router which will restore the router to it's original settings, including the Wi-Fi Network name (SSID) and password.
If the password has been changed, please refer to the one on the stickers attached to your router to find the original password.
Once the No Internet connection issue is resolved, I can assist you in reconnecting to the network.

Thank you, A line test has not identified an issue outside your premises. As you've not made any changes before this issue started, the next step is to look at the router.

You should be able to see the power light on the front of the router.
If this light is on, your router is receiving power.
Just to verify, is the router currently powered on?

A line test is currently underway. This checks the equipment used to provide the broadband service to your home - including the exchange, cabinet and line equipment.
This can take up to 5 minutes to complete. I'll let you know if this test finds a fault, otherwise I'll continue with further checks.

Thank you @Mycjets I am about to run a test that will look at the condition of your line. This test will identify any faults in the cables and associated equipment, between your home and the exchange, that could effect your service.
The result will allow us to determine if an engineer is required, or whether additional checks need to be completed with you.

@Mycjets As you have confirmed that the internet is not dropping at the moment and experiencing slow speed, I will run checks for slow speed.
Do you have any active monitoring for life threatening health reasons which is solely dependant upon your TalkTalk Broadband or Telephone line?
For example a care alarm, lifeline, health pendant or fall detector.
