"I personally swapped my Eero 6 out for a router I bought that has more ethernet ports,  because the Eero 6 only has two ethernet ports, and one of those ports"

You can buy a 5 port ethernet switch for around £10 this allows you to use the eero router if you have several devices that use  Ethernet, this video shows you how to set it up (very easy to do)

@Mrobjoo,Just to add, this page has some of the information posted by DJI_Mini_3 in the first page of this thread.

https://www.broadband.co.uk/providers/talktalk/broadband/routers

So you would need an Amazon Eero 6 router in my own opinion. That's what TalkTalk sent me when I upgraded to Full Fibre 150 a few years ago.

The page I quoted also mentions the Eero Pro 6 is included for Full Fibre 500 and Full Fibre 900 packages. I believe that's because the maxmium download speed for the Eero 6 is 500Mbit/s. But if  you're never going to upgrade from Full Fibre 150, the Eero 6 is fine.

I personally swapped my Eero 6 out for a router I bought that has more ethernet ports,  because the Eero 6 only has two ethernet ports, and one of those ports will be taken up by the incoming internet connection, leaving only one ethernet port for your devices.

Hello @Mrobjoo , I personally don't believe the HG633 is fast enough for Full Fibre 150. The grey Broadband port on the back (where you would plug in your internet connection coming in from the modem) supports VDSL2, ADSL2+, ADSL2 and ADSL transmission technologies. Of these, only VDSL2 is fast enough for Full Fibre 150. VDSL2 supports a maxmium download of 200 Mbits/s. TalkTalk Full Fibre 150 download speed is 150 Mbits/s. So no problem there. However, the real problem is its yellow ethernet ports (marked 1,2,3 and 4 where you would connect your PC to it). These only support up to 100 Mbits/s. So the fastest speed you would ever get is 100 Mbits/s.  So you would be losing 50 Mbit/s.

Hello @Mrobjoo , thank you for reaching out to us regarding your recent order for Full Fibre 150. I’m happy to assist you with your query about the HG633 router.

The HG633 router is generally compatible with Full Fibre services, but to ensure optimal performance, it’s important to check a couple of things:

Make sure your router's firmware is up to date. This can help improve performance and compatibility with the new service. Also ensure that your router is connected properly to the fibre modem or ONT (Optical Network Terminal) if you have one. This is crucial for the Full Fibre service to work effectively. If you experience any issues after your service is activated, please don’t hesitate to contact us for further assistance. We’re here to help you get the best experience with your new Full Fibre connection.

Thank you for choosing us and enjoy your new service!

-Fez.
