Hi

Hoping someone can help.
Upgraded from Fibre65 to Fibre500 on Monday 6 Feb. I already had Full Fibre connection into my house.
I received new eero router and Openreach installed this router on Monday.
My question is when should I start to see increase in speed.
I am still getting same speed as prior to upgrade.  No change.
Thanks

Just a quick update to let you know that this has been raised to BT Openreach for investigation

Thanks. I'll pass this to our Future Fibre team and ask them to take a look. I'll let you know when I receive an update or they may contact you directly

And just to confirm, you had Future Fibre 65 before upgrading to Future Fibre 500?

OK thanks. Could you just confirm that you currently have an Internet connection as our system isn't showing that your router is connected

Hi

Yes I connected my laptop directly to ONT and ran a Speedtest from internet.
Same speed being recorded.

Just to confirm, you've tried connecting a device directly to the ONT bypassing the router and the speed was the same?

Thanks. It does look as though the speed has been increased. Could you switch the Eero and ONT off for 30 minutes then switch back on and retest - please let us know if your speed improves

Hi Markysuzy,

Can you please update your community profile to include your:

  • Name
  • Telephone number
  • Alternative contact number

We'll then look into this further. Please do not post this information on this thread. Once you've updated your profile please post in your topic to confirm it's updated.

Thanks

Hi

I did power down both ONT and eero yesterday.
Speed I am seeing at ONT is 75 download and 22 upload

This is exactly as it was last week before I had upgrade.

Thanks

Hello,

What speeds are you seeing? Have you tried powering down the ONT and the eero and then retested the speeds again? What speeds do you see if you connect directly at the ONT?

Thanks
