Full fibre 500 slow speeds

ive just had full fibre 500 installed and the fastest im getting is about 330

does it take  awhile to settle in?

also im missig my usb drive off my old router and way to get one work with full fibre?

If that is at the ONT, then the figures quoted in the Eero app (now that I know which router that you have). Those speeds does not suggest you have been allocated the wrong fibre band.

 

If this is the case, please turn both the ONT and the Eero off for at least 30 mins & try again.

If you connect an Ethernet-connected device directly to the ONT in place of the router & do a speed test, what do you get there?

 

Which make/model of router do you have?

 

Access to the USB port in older routers was via the SMB V1 protocol, which is now highly insecure & Microsoft say that it should never be used now. The SMB V1 client is disabled by default in Windows 11 for example because of this. You should really be looking to a NAS or perhaps a Plex sever these days.
