Hi

Just had full fibre upgrade, how do I connect phone to router supplied, engineer told me to plug it into broadband connection,did this and doesn’t work! I think I have been sent wrong router, there is no socket under a sticker as last email says!

This appears to be a CityFibre installation.  I thought that VOIP was not a service that was possible with TalkTalk via CityFibre circuits, has this situation now changed?

Hello,

 

We've requested that a wifi hub 2 router be sent and this should hopefully arrive in the next 48hrs. You'll also receive a router returns bag so that the original router can be returned.

Hi

Previous post contains details of router. Just plugged phone into old box and it works.!

The city fibre engineer told me that it would be disconnected once the fibre was installed ,that was why I was asking about router,

Hi

Talktalk upgraded me to fibre 65 and I’m supposed to have digital voice according to my last email from them, I know there is no socket on back of router,so I’ve been sent wrong router or is there another way to connect my phone.?

Thanks for that. This model is not equipped with a telephone adapter. Did you upgrade to a Full Fibre service which includes VoIP? Or does your phone still work when connected to the old BT socket?
