I can’t get subtitles on my new box ,when I tried I got half a picture which I couldn’t get rid off, did everything I was told but  the instructions at one side I couldn’t get rid of I pressed everything on the remote but nothing worked .

Hi,

 

Sounds like your settings menu is stuck.

 

I've had this and I've found pulling the plug out and then restarting the box usually cures this.

 

As to subtitles, is this on apps or live TV?
