Was on the phone for hours with multiple talktalk representatives including 2 different members of the fibre team, and I can confirm to you, talktalk is now adamant that they will not allow any new customers to be able to take digital voice lines on any new full fibre lines. Why they have chosen this decision is pretty bizarre to me. It is perfectly possible for existing customers to get digital voice. Why then, shouldn't new customers be given the option to at least tick an option for a new digital landline on joining talktalk?

 

Vodafone allow this, as well as bringing old landline number with you.
