Can someone from talk talk explain why today ive had an unsolicited call from talk talk wanting to offer information on upgrades, bearing in mind 1, ive just upgraded and 2, my marketing and contact prefferences are by email contact only? obviously they dont seem to be following the prefferences set out on your system. 0800 955 5544 was the number.
Ive always come onto this forum and spoke to the lovely staff when needed help.. Really have no interest in talking on the phone about issues due to bad or poor past experiences.

yes i updated it from mail through the letterbox yesterday and at no point has it ever been by phone. No harm done as its now blocked

I'm sorry about this. I've checked and I can confirm that marketing preferences are email only but it shows updated yesterday. Did you update this yesterday?
