I have full fibre (FTTP) 65.
Sagecom Hub 2 (the black one). Nearly 5 years old.
This has been going on for over a year, but it's getting worse. The connection to both my laptop and phone randomly drop for a few seconds to about a minute, and it now at least once an hour, subjectivly speaking.
Logging-on to my router, it has been connected for over 22 days. And the 4 blinkenlights on the thingy on the wall are always on.
I'm thinking the router is getting tired.
I would ask for channel optimisation to be disabled, but I know that is no longer allowed.
Thanks, Experts.

Hi Michelle, and also Karl,
Yes, the replacement Sagecom router arrived promptly. And, after two weeks of use, I am delighted to say that now my fibre connection has been rock solid. Zero drop-outs.
It's important that I provide this feedback, so that both the support agents here, and TT customer services in general, realise that sometimes it really is the router that has started to malfunction. I'm grateful to Karl for his no-fuss agreeing to simply dispatch a new router. I had tried some months earlier on the phone to TT, and my request was roundly dismissed.

Hi Karl,
Thanks, yes I think it's worth trying a new router please.
I don't know the life expectancy of them, but 5 years is getting-on.
Cheers
