Caller Display not working

Good morning,

Caller Display stopped working about 2 weeks ago, the display shows "External Call".

All 3 handsets show the same message.

Caller Display is shown as active in my account settings.

I have tried the following:

1. Remove the Caller Display option and confirm it's removed, then add it back on. 

2. Power down the base unit for a few minutes.

3. Reset the base units and handsets.

None of this has worked, so I assume it must be a fault your end.

Hi Michelle

 

The faults team didn't call me today as agreed.

Whatever she tried didn't work. Still not fixed.

I'm around most of today and tomorrow to take a call from them.

Had a call from the team. They're going to try a couple of things and call me back Tuesday 4 - 6pm.

Sorry not replied sooner but I am very busy at the moment.

I had a garbled message left this morning asking me to call back. I managed to decipher the number (03451720088) which  I called and is customer service not a technical team. I was told there are very long waits on the lines, so I hung up. I don't have time to sit in a queue, so could you get whoever it was to call me again please?

 

I also had a strange email from talktalk about openreach terms and conditions which apparently was mentioned to me. I haven't spoken to anyone and have no idea what this is.

Just to add, if you receive any emails today about the caller display service then please ignore these, it's me trying to fix this issue on my side.
