Could someone run a line test please? (Just when I went on holiday the phone went dead but I didn't have time to report it. I'm back at home shortly and would like it to be working again!)

Yes, obviously, but it was the line test I was asking for. Conversely, OR isn't going to truckroll before checking the E-side and hopefully the PCP (given the location in this case). I'll be home in time for the next step (if any).

They can obviously do the distant tests etc, but will usually need you to have done some tests at home before actually sending out an engineer to the property.
Great if it can all be sorted remotely and no need for access to the premises, @pgjenn.
Hope that suffices for this issue for you!

Hi pgjenn
No problem. I will keep monitoring for updates on the fault.

@Debbie-TalkTalk many thanks!

@Gliwmaeden2 evidently you're mistaken

Hi pgjenn
I'm sorry to hear this.
The line test is detecting a potential fault so I have passed this straight over to Openreach to be investigated by a line engineer.
I will continue to monitor for additional updates from Openreach.
Thanks

It didn't show up as complete when displaying your name in the thread.
Now it does. Might be a software glitch on the forum.
If there's any fault on line, there's little that can be done to sort it while you are away, as preliminary checks will involve eliminating problems with any internal wiring.
Your thread is in the queue for attention.

Yes @Gliwmaeden2 it's all still there from the last time I asked for help
