All i want to do is to stop(disconnect) my home phone.
My phone is broken and i don't intend to use it any more.
Do i just need to unplug it and throw it away, or do i need
to do anything more.

It not possible to separate the services, so if you dont want to use the landline you dont have too, but you are still charged the same bundled price.
