There are no extra costs. Your landline is included in the Broadband bill but not extra, whether copper / FTTC or using VOIP (ordered with FTTP). Call charges can be mitigated by adding a boost:

Boosts are charged per month but can help reduce total bills as long as calls are not longer than an hour at a time.
