SOLVED see bottom of message
Caller Display - was saying Incoming Call, not displaying number for around a week. Yesterday, landline not working at all
Have a 'normal' landline (ie not wifi)
I had not requested, nor been been notified of any change from landline to wifi only
Checked boosts -
https://myaccount.talktalk.co.uk/myservices/myservices/view
Caller display boost - was already ticked, still ticked
Unticked & updated
Shortly after -checked landline - dead, no dial tone
Re-updated to opt in to caller display - LL still not working
Next day - swapped filter (the double socket/splitter that phone base plugs into) from my 'bag of wires & bits' and its now working again inc caller display
Posting this as it may help someone else
PS TT website - could not find the old 'line checker' to see if L line is working - only one I could find is to check broadband....

The line checker should show up as an option in My Connection, @Southcoast2, via Service Status Dashboard.
