Hi and thanks in advance for your assistance. I have no dial tone on my home phone, just white noise.

 

I have tested the line via the fault finder (Fault reference number REP-13086580) which asked me to contact TalkTalk by clicking a button link. Unfortunately, the button doesn't actually do anything!

 

Can someone please look into this fault.

I've checked and we've received an update to advise that the fault has been cleared and closed. Is the voice service now working ok for you?

Many thanks Michelle. I have since discovered that the phone rings in, but there is nothing but white noise on the line.

Hello,

 

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line which has detected a potential external line fault so I've passed this over to Openreach now to complete an external line investigation. We'll re-check back in 48hrs to see if there is an update on the fault.
