Click on the slider shortcut to the left of the address box in the menu bar:

..

Then click on Site settings and select "Allow" in the dropdown box next to Pop-ups and redirects.

I disabled ADBLOCK but it made no difference. Can you tell me how to "allow pop ups and redirects"?

Well try disabling it on the My Account page and also allow pop ups and redirects, as I said.

Yes I'm using ADBLOCK. But usually if a webpage doesn't load it tells me to pause the adblocker.

Just one more thought: do you have any ad blockers disabled and pop ups and redirects allowed in Chrome?

Yeah, I am using Chrome too,  exactly the same screen:

..

But like I said, when I click on that I get a new tab with the community page as here:

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/

Let's see if the support team can untangle this when they are back online after the New Year holiday.

Yes it goes to the same dead end with just the "OK" top left. Maybe it's my browser. I use Chrome. Just to make sure you're looking at the right link it's this one:

OK, thanks for that. And when you try that now does it take you to the same dead end? I have tried via My Account myself and it took me to the generic community page.

Can you post a link to the original router security page?

For nuisance calls, see here:

Would seem to be a fault in a link going from the Router Security page then, so it would be more useful if we knew what that page actually was, @mycarsahealey.

The links from the main Talktalk website and community pages appear to work fine.

I can't recall where I found it. I had a leaflet in my new TV box which talked about Router Security. and directed me to a page. On the page I also saw Telephone Security and prevention of scam calls. I clicked on the link and there was nothing but "OK" at the top left hand corner. The link was:

@mycarsahealey, this link works:

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/Using-Selective-call-rejection-Last-Caller-Barring/ta-p...

... as does the one to Last Caller Barring linked within Karl's article.

There used to be a page available for reporting nuisance numbers but that has long since ceased to exist. You may have clicked on an old, out of date link which can't take you to a page that no longer exists.

Unfortunately with the Web, there often are old links and information that's completely out of date that just linger like litter on the Internet.

Where did you find that link?

You clearly don't understand!!!!!!

What I'm trying to tell you is that there is an error on the TalkTalk webpage.

Look at the link I put on the community page and that will show you it doesn't redirect you to the page explaning what to do about call barring.
