Porting landline number away from TalkTalk but keeping broadband service. Is it possible

I'm looking to port my landline number to a seperate VOIP provider but wish to keep my broadband service with talktalk. Is that possible? I was under the impression that if I port my landline away all connected services would end that were connected to that number. Would be grateful if someone could confirm what would happen in this situation.

Hi

 

You cannot port your number from TalkTalk whilst keeping the broadband service, you would have to cancel or take another number with the voip provider.
