Hi I am hoping to re join you with broadband and home phone.

Would I still keep our number currently with Virgin media???

It might be worth checking the position with Virgin at the very least. And if there are any issues, we can take it from there.

I have just re joined talktalk apparently.

Do I need to now tell vm or when I go live with tt??

You need to check that Virgin tells Talktalk that you want to port the number across - they are on different types of infrastructure. 

When it's done the other way around, Talktalk to Virgin, you are asked to tell Talktalk yourself. Check with Virgin to ascertain the system in reverse, @hosays299.
