Hi I am hoping to re join you with broadband and home phone.

 

Would I still keep our number currently with Virgin media???

Up to you my friend, I am not a Virgin customer so have no direct experience of their customer services. 

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. It might be worth checking the position with Virgin at the very least. And if there are any issues, we can take it from there.

You need to check that Virgin tells Talktalk that you want to port the number across - they are on different types of infrastructure. 

 

When it's done the other way around, Talktalk to Virgin, you are asked to tell Talktalk yourself. Check with Virgin to ascertain the system in reverse, @hosays299.
