VOIP dropping out - having to restart eero and grandstream

Several times over the last couple of weeks the  dial tone on my phone has been delayed when I start to make a call, the phone rings but the person on the other end cannot hear me and all goes dead.  I have to turn off the eero and grandstream off and wait for 1 minute and turn back on.  This is usually successful but sometimes I have to do it twice.  I have this number as my mothers emergency alarm if she has a fall and I am concerned that if the phone line is down and I am unaware of it I may miss a call.

SECONDLY - I have free call waiting listed on my account as part of my package.

Now when I am on the phone and a 2nd caller rings, they hear the message the caller knows you are waiting but then I am cut off from my call and the second caller comes through without my knowing who it is.

I have tried to cancel call waiting in my account as I don't particularly want it.

My account package says I have call waiting, when I try to manage my telephone boosts, call waiting does not appear on the list so I cannot cancel it.

Is it because call waiting is no longer a service but it has not been properly shut down at talk talk.

Hi Gleha,

Can you switch the ONT, eero and grandstream off and leave them off for at least 30 minutes, then switch back on and retest. Please let us know how you get on
