I have broadband. Will the landline change from analogue to digital effect me?

Hi

 

VOIP = Voice Over Internet Protocol.  So digital phone signal used over an internet connection.

It will affect everyone eventually, @edward4.

 

It may already be available in your street, not necessarily with Talktalk yet.

 

When it is available, if you want to stay with Talktalk and keep your phone number, you must order VOIP at the time. Otherwise you will only get Broadband. 

 

There's an availability checker on the main Talktalk website.
