I tested my line & got a message saying
"we think there is an issue with your telephone." and a fault ref; 13971345
It's two days later & I still have the fault & there is no update on the fault report

So basically I just live with it? We have a daughter coming to stay soon I'll try & be brave & disconnect when I've got someone else here. Can I come back to you if the disconnect doesn't work, please.

Thank you Karl. We have a monitor linked to our phone line to get help for my husband if necessary I am reluctant to unplug my landline in case of an emergency.

All tests are currently clear. if this is still happening can you unplug everything out of your phone socket for 30 minutes, then connect back up and retest.

Add your Talktalk landline number in Personal Information in your community forum profile details, @Aniachka1, for staff to identify your account.
They will reply after the weekend.
Go via your avatar/name; settings; drop down menu.... SAVE CHANGES.
