Windows defender and Homesafe

I've got Windows 10 and have Windows Defender running. Should I also turn on Talktalk Homesafe/Virus Alerts or will they clash? If I only need one of them, which one? Should I install another anti-virus programme?

Hi Confused6, you should be ok with HomeSafe Virus Alerts as this relates to the page being scanned prior to opening and is not loaded on your devices. If you were asking about Online Defence then the answer KeithFrench gave would be exactly right as that's installed on your devices.

That is right only ever use one of them. I cannot comment for SSB as I do not use it. However, I do use one of the major paid-for AV suites and that disables both Windows Defender & Firewall as part of its installation. Uninstalling my AV will revert Windows to use Defender & Firewall again.

I am not employed by TalkTalk, I'm just a customer. If my post has fixed the issue, please set Accept as Solution from the 3 dot menu.
