I've had to change my old you view box for a shiny new 4k box as I was having intermittent problems with programmes not recording.
Unbelievably it seems I can not record one channelwhilst watching a different one!
Surely I must be doing something wrong?

Hi
Gondola is correct of course, but I find with more and more content moving to On Demand, the need to record is becoming obsolete 🙂

Simply plug in a USB memory stick (minimum 32GB) to enable the recording feature. Please note, you'll only be able to record 1 programme at a time. To watch a different programme you'll watch that via the TV channel selection not via the TV Box. So, you'll need a TV antenna cable to the TV antenna socket and a TV antenna cable to the TV Box antenna socket. Best way is via a Distribution amplifier connected to a single external TV antenna to give you multiple TV antenna signals for the TV, TV Box and other TV's in the home.
Recording on TalkTalk TV Boxes
The 4K TV Box has a single tuner so will tune in just one digital multiplex at a time. That multiplex contains a group of channels. You may watch a programme channel from that group and record a different programme channel from the same group. To give the flexibility to set a programme to record on the 4K TV Box and watch any other TV programme then, view via the TV channel selection.
