Buttons on remote not working

Yesterday I set up my new TalkTalk TV Hub. All fine except that the TV and source buttons on the remote don't work. I have followed TT website instructions to re-pair my remote to the TV but this has not resolved the problem. What else can I try please?

Please start your own thread as each case is considered unique and it is easier for support to be given to one person per thread and also less confusing.
To start your thread click the Browse button, then Help With Your Service and select the appropriate category. You will then see a Blue Button "Start A Topic"
Please also note that you should only post back on that thread and not start another on the same topic as multiple posts cause delay to you and others seeking help.

I've had my new TV hub for a few weeks and it's worked OK until today. Now the remote control and hub won't communicate.  I've powered off everything at the plug but still  no luck. Is there something else I can try.?

Hi

 

If following the pairing option has not worked, then your model of TV may not be supported.  The majority of models are supported provided each manufacturer has issued the required codes, but not all TV's can be supported.

Unfortunately it's not possible for all TVs to be operated by the box remotes.

 

This was also the case with the old boxes.

 

Both the box and TV needs to be using a protocol that allows them to communicate with each other and not all TVs do.
