Cannot connect TV Hub

TAlkTalk installed yesterday. internet no problem. But think I have followed the hub set up instructions., but just cannot get anything on the screen. Double checked setup instructions, to no avail.

some of instructions a bit confusing, use remote to set up THEN put batteries in?
Cannot find PIN code in the box, but never got to the point of using.

spent too long on it, seriously thinking of returning it and investing in a Smart TV!

Any easy to understand advice appreciated.

cannot cope with the remote help, experienced enough frustration with Virgin Media’s help line.

Hi

 

Is the hub connected to the TV via HDMI cable ?

 

Have you selected the correct source channel with your TV remote so that the correct HDMI channel is selected?

 

If this fails, have you another TV in the house to test the box on ?
