ITV 1 and TV Guide on new Talk Talk TV 4K Box

I've just received the new Talk Talk 4K box and find I cant access BBC1, ITV1, Channel 4 or 5 unless I go into the apps. The old box had an easy access TV guide and the new seems really bad. Is it possible to access a different guide, and the channels more easily?

If you select 1 on the remote, does it change channel to BBC1 ?
