ITV Hub to ITVX

I have the old talktalk TV box (no recording etc),a Seiki television (which is not a smart TV) and use the Fast broadband as no Fibre connection.  From what i can see from the posts etc I will not be able to get the new ITVX app using this equipment so what can I do? Any information on this is very welcome.

Yes, you might be able to do that, but if you are using the DN372T, these newer boxes do not have proper recording capabilities or an aerial out socket.

I think Keith has sent you an email as he did me.  I spoke to Talktalk on the number in Keith's email and they sorted it all for me. I got a TV TalkTalk TV Hub and it worked and somehow changed my old TV into a smart TV  .  The TV box worked without the Full Fibre (on Fast broadband) and was able to get ITVX but i had the Full Fibre  upgrade anyway .

You could call the TalkTalk Loyalty dept (direct line 0345 1725157) and see if you can get an acceptable deal on either of these two TV boxes:-

 

  • TALKTALK TV HUB
  • TalkTalk TV 4K Box

They will effectively turn your TV into a smart TV.
