NOW TV Sports Package Increase

Hello,

 

My NOW TV Sports package has recently increased from £10 a month to £34.99 a month. I have been on the chat to try and get this reduced as it's not affordable and been told can't do anything as can't apply anymore discount to my account? However, a deal on the TalkTalk website shows it's currently being advertised at £25 a month? So new customers get that deal but existing customers can't get a better deal?

Has anyone else had this issue?

Is there no better deal to be had?

Hi

 

Once the discount comes to an end, it cannot be readded, unless our customer teams have offers when negotiating renewal of contract etc.  Also, there are no guarantees the offers would be available if you removed and re-added this at a later date.

Thanks for the response. To not be able to apply a new discount to an existing package seems to be slightly odd. If I remove the package, surely a discount can be applied when I add the new package?

Hi

 

If you had a discount that has now ended, a new discount cannot be applied to the existing product.

 

If you remove the sports options, you may be able to add this again in the future if any discounts are showing in My Account  online.
