I've restored factory settings for the 4th time, since once again (usually Sun am) only BBC channels are shown and goes to iPlayer unbidden.
I see others with this issue and it is highly annoying, as have restore all activation codes for itvx etc.
Is this a hardware issue not software?

Once again this morning 4K box reverted to only receiving BBC channels on tv guide.
You can manually enter a freeview channel (even after rescan) but if select up/down it will choose next bbc channel not nearest freeview.
Once again restored factory settings after spending 1hr on chat then repeating same verbally to agent.
It is not an issue with aerial or strength. This is 4k top box issue as checked software last update was Nov 2024.
Talktalk now sending new tv hub box if I pay delivery.
Hopefully this cures this annoying undocumented feature 🙄

Hi ,
Thanks for reporting again.
Others though have found the reset pressing the button 5 times works.
Unfortunately not for you. Do you wish to try again?
Staff are back tomorrow and will hopefully pick up then.
