New 4K TV Box VIVID colours much too bright.

Hi

I received my new box last week, somewhere during the set up process it mentioned vivid colour for UHD viewing. I find that this is too vivid when watching Netflix etc via this box, it is much brighter than Netflix on my 4K TV App.

Is there a way I can change the setting on the TT box so that the colour is not so vivid ?

I have tried to change some of the settings on the TV HDMI port but to no avail, and I am at a loss to understand why the colours are so much brighter on the TV via the TT 4K box.

Can anyone help please?

Hi Thanks Karl.

I saw the option to change frequency settings, but as this doesn't change the vivid colour I left it at 60mhz.

The TV has more adjustments than a Jumbo Jet flight deck, but I can't find one to change the colour dynamic specifically for the 4K box.

I'll try the LG forum and see if they can help.

Hi

 

Under the settings, under the picture option, you can change the output frequency etc, but not the colour.

 

You can adjust the colour settings of the TV itself or there may be additional settings on your Tv that may help.
