Can anyone help me please.
We just set up our Hub TV box - but as we have an older TV bought an HDMI to scarp cable - rather than using the one provided. We turn on the TV, but it's just a blank screen. Can anyone advise me?
Can we get it to work?
Thanks

Hi
As fr8ys mentions, do you have access to another TV to test, one with a HDMI input, so a standard HDMI cable can be used, to test the box is working correctly.
Thanks
Karl.

I think this may be a resolution issue, as SCART uses a much lower output to the TV than HDMI does. Was the adapter an HDMI to SCART adaptor and not a SCART to HDMI one as i know early on these adaptors were one way only and not universal.
The hub is capable of outputting at HD and 4k resolutions.
Have a look in settings under picture and see if you can drop the output resolution. 720 x 480 which is the normal output to TV for SCART.
Just a thought though that if your screen is blank you wont be able to get into settings either. Do you have a friend who you could set up the box on their HDMI input and then change the resolution to try on your TV?
If not then I dont think the box will be suitable for you but staff may be able to advise further on Monday when they are back.
