New TV Hub crashed after Android 12 update

Good evening. I have just received a new TV Hub and followed the set up procedure. It automatically updated to Android 12 and then I was just left with a black screen and it would go now further. Has anyone else experienced this? (I have used all the new cables supplied). It is model no. UZW4054TTG.

I am really not sure what to do and whether this is a faulty box.

Thanks

Hi

If all boxes tested are showing the same issues, it may be a compatibility issue with your TV Model.

Make sure you swapped the HDMI Cable over when setting this up.

Can you test the new box on a different TV or if you do not have a second TV, are you able to test the box at a friend or family members TV.

Thanks

Karl.

Hi Karl

Unfortunately the new box  did not solve the problem. I plugged it in as per the instructions, paired the remote, asked me if I wanted to use the Ethernet connection or Wi-Fi, I selected the Ethernet option, as I had already plugged that in. The box then did two updates. following this nothing with just "no signal" being displayed on my TV (the white light was showing on the talk talk tv box.

Is there something else that I should be doing?

Thanks

Hi

If the full reset has now worked then next option is to swap out the box.

Shall I go ahead and get this sent out ?

Thanks

Karl.

Hi Karl.

Thank you - I've tried this reset tonight but it really didn't make a difference. It appeared to start with the "You view" logo displayed for about 30 seconds. After this the screen just went blank with "no signal" displayed. The white light flashed a few times and was steady on but still nothing onscreen.

Is there anything else I can try or might the box be faulty?

Thanks

Hi

Try a Maintenance reset

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/TV-Box-Maintenance-Reset/ta-p/1429347

This will reset the Android box fully and restart the box.

Thanks

Karl.
