No Tv this morning

Last night my TT Tv was fine.

This morning all I get on my TV is No signal, check external imputs.

I am tech savy and have tried everything. Turning the TV and box on and off, unplugging everything, including the router. On the box I can see the lights on the box going through the waking up mode but its not showing on the TV screen.

The Tv is fine as I've now put the aerial into the tv aerial socket and I have freeview.

Any help appreciated.

Hi

 

OK, also try another HDMI cable if possible.

 

If this box has failed, it cannot be replaced. TalkTalk stopped issuing these legacy youview boxes a number of years ago.

Yes I swapped over from HDMI port 3 to 1 and still no difference. I'll take another look later when I'm back from work.

Hi thanks for your reply, I did think of that but I can't see anything on the screen so I don't see how I can do a re-set because I couldn't see the menu?

have you tried a YouView Maintenance Reset (https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/How-to-find-maintenance-mode/ta-p/1429347)?

Try the Factory Reset keep recording option.

You will then need to reset your personal settings (such as parental controls / Set antenna Out to On in Settings: Picture and Sound / Surround Sound etc.) and also reset your scheduled recordings (might be worth taking a note of future recordings before doing this so you don’t miss any).

If all else fails then try a full factory reset lose recordings. You will lose your recordings but you may be asked to do this before the support staff look at other alternatives.
