I have just installed my new TV Hub, as a replacement for my previous TalkTalk TV hub. With my previous hub I was able to record programmes by pressing the R button, and, via the Guide, I could set up future programmes to be recorded. How is this possible using the remote provided with the new hub?

If you have returned your old TV box, there is not much we can do, we no longer issue a recording box, and now only issue the android based TV HUB to new and existing customers. As the majority of content is available on demand, the industry as a whole is moving towards online streaming content.

Karl, thanks for your prompt reply. The lack of a recording facility on my new hub was not explained to when I renewed my contract. Unfortunately, I have already posted my old hub, as required, otherwise I would have re-installed my old hub. Your advice would be helpful. Thanks.

TalkTalk no longer provide a recording box. The new android TalkTalk TV Hub cannot record.
