I assume you have the Netgem 4k box.
This only has one tuner so it's not possible to do 2 things at once.
It's basically a box for streaming with a tuner and limited recording via usb.
To watch a programme while you record you will need to purchase an aerial splitter and 2 leads, one to the box and one the TV. You then watch the TV whilst recording on the box.
The splitter and leads are relatively cheap and supermarkets usually stock them as do online retailers.
