I've never used TTtv, & truth be told I'd have canceled it if I'd known I was paying for it. Is there a way to remove it online or is a phone call mandatory? I've never actually been sent a TV Box, should I have been? I'd probably have realised I needed to cancel it if I had.

They only send out the box if you ask for it at the time, @CIV3S, as so many people will simply be renewing and already have a box.

Belated thanks for the info! If I inadvertently added it as a result of renewing online, would TT not have sent me a box?

Yes, you have to contact Talktalk directly, @CIV3S.
You can't do it via My Account.
If you ever renew online, it will be automatically included, which is something to watch out for.
Phone lines not open Sunday for this.
