Tv box fault

Telly box, DN37 2T, displaying multitude of faults for about a year. I persevered because of the recordings, but it now is useless. After I reset it which takes a lot longer than normal, it switches on to the last program used. Attempting to change programs or pressing any other button, causes the screen to black out and freeze. You then need to reboot.

I have tried everything including factory resets. Please send me a replacement.

I have exactely this problem, and have factory reset 3 times with no positive results, so I too need a replacement box other wise ther is no point in paying for the tv service

Hi Ray,

 

It's about 3 years not that TalkTalk stopped providing the youview boxes, and these cannot be replaced.  You can call our teams and see if you are eligible for one of the new 4K TV Boxes.

TalkTalk no longer provide recordable boxes (the 4k box can record via usb stick but only has one tuner so you can't record a channel and watch another) and you will need to contact the loyalty team to see if you are eligible for a new box as you may have to recontract.
