USB memory stick will not verify in my 4k tv box

I have installed the memory stick and received a message on screen saying, 'initialising please wait this could take a few minutes' after some time another message appears saying unable to initialise.

I have tried a number of times with no success, I do not think there is a fault on the memory stick it is brand new and of good quality. Can anyone help please.

If you start your own thread (new message), we’d love to help.

 

We’ve found that posting in someone else’s conversation makes it harder to follow when looking for an answer.

I am having the same problem. Followed the Formatting on my PC to NTFS and the inserted in TV 4K Box. Goes around saying initialising then syas Unable to format the USB stick.

 

Is there some secret way to initialise the USB?

Is there only a specific type or size?
