I have closed my Bank Account with Barclays and is in the process of setting up a new bank account. As soon as I set up my new account hopefully with in the next week I will advise you the details to enable you to re-set my direct debit.

You should be able to add the new details via My Account ,its in the Bill & Pay preferences select update direct debit.

Meanwhile, @telegillian17, ensure that any bills coming in are paid by one of the alternative methods, several days before the normal due day:

It can take time to set up new details and payment by DD has to have several days leading in. Any problems with late payment or failed DD incur charges, so you need to cover yourself against it not being ready in time.
