Hi
On 10/09/23 I reported the inability to make or receive calls on my landline. This link refers https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Home-Phone/Loss-of-landline/m-p/2991131#M155494. The line was eventually reinstated on 21/09/23, 8 days excluding weekend. During my community conversation your colleague stated "If you are unable to make any outbound calls or receive inbound calls it should be classed as Total Loss of Service". I note on my October bill no refund has been applied. Could you advise please? Thank you.
Regards
Carl

Hi @csqwared
I have asked the auto compensation team to investigate,
Once the investigation is complete you will receive an SMS/Email.

It's not a "rebate", @csqwared.
Automatic compensation is a specified amount that would be awarded, and it seems to often take more than the 30 days detailed in the link you were given in your previous thread.
It won't show up as a "refund".
Check "transaction history". If it's paid, that's where you will see it recorded, and you can either put the funds towards future bills or claim it back to your bank account.
