I've recently left TalkTalk for a different provider and have received 1 returns bag and 1 label to return the equipment and these came with the following letter:
I have a Wifi hub (Sagemcom) router, Huawei router and set-top TalkTalk TV box to return, but I've no idea how much they weight together in the bag and the letter mentions nothing about the items just a package weight.
I also received a text message from TalkTalk asking me to contact them about disconnection after my service had been disconnected and I have yet to receive any final bill/statement notification (I've just gone into My Account and downloaded the PDF).

Hello everyone,
@Arne-TalkTalk - thank you for arranging the extra bag, it arrived the other day.
I've packed everything up in both bags (1x WiFi hub, 1x Huawei router, 1x TV box) and booked the collection for tomorrow morning (27th January).
@Gliwmaeden2 - it would be better if the letter(s) would list the items expected to be returned back and not just a package weight.
Incidentally, the Royal Mail site uses weight categories when booking collections, it doesn't allow you to specify the weight as 1.3kg per package, you have to select from a set of "up to" options, so I used "up to 2 kg" for both as 1.3 kg is greater than 1 kg and less than 2 kg.

Hi BroadbandHog
Its usually the Wifi Hub and TV box if you have one.
Thank you.

Hi Arne,
Thank you for requesting another bag - it's a shame the letter doesn't remind me of exactly which equipment to return so I don't miss anything.

Hi BroadbandHog
The post office will weight it for you but regardless of the combined weight its prepaid so you wont get a charge.
I will request another bag for you as they may not all fit in.
Hope that helps

It's something I have pondered too, @BroadbandHog, when returning equipment (that, and is it the right amount in the prepaid label for ongoing price increases from Royal Mail....?).
Can you check the items on the kitchen scales?
Or at a Post Office? They will always check the weight for you there.
If there's any danger of these not getting processed properly, staff on here can send you another bag(s).
I'll move this thread to the billing section as there seems to be a problem about being "disconnected" instead of cancelled.
Did you leave your Direct Debit in place meanwhile? It's best to do that precisely because it takes a while to get the final bill of £0.00.
Prior to that, if you are due a refund for days not used since the line cease, the easiest way to claim back money from My Account is by using these same DD details.
