I just received my WifiHub for my Fibre 65 package and I've been living in this flat for a year now. I do have the landline socket in my house but of course, I don't need a landline provider/service until now, do the engieneers need to come in just to potentially set up the socket or they need to do some extra work inside? As far as Im aware, they do everything else outside.
The landlords say that there are hardwired internet connections in each flat which run to a control box in the lobby of the building. They should only need to get their cable in there if they dont have one already. Will that be enough?

Hi
Openreach will usually connect everything up from outside. If they are unable to detect the socket during their line tests then they may ask to come inside and test from the socket.
We cannot guarantee what will happen until the engineer is on site.
Thanks
Karl.
