I have been having an issue for about two months where the router will reject access i.e. trying to connect will bring up an error message "Router refused connection"
This problem will kick me off and prevent me from getting back online.
The simple solution WAS to reset the router but now that dosn't seem to work either. I have to reset it four or five times to get the conection back andeven then it might only last twenty minutes before I'm back to square one.

Hi @MClarke
The fault has been assigned to an Openreach line engineer this morning. We should hopefully have further updates later this afternoon.
Thanks

Good afternoon,
Thanks for confirming. The line test is still detecting a potential external line fault so I've passed this over to Openreach now to complete an external line investigation. We'll re-check the fault first thing in the morning and will post an update back here.
Thanks
Michelle

Good morning.
Yes, there is a lack of dial tone on the voice service
There is no test socket per say.
If it helps, its a "master socker 5 C"
There is a pannel at the front that can be removed to reveal another connection inside it and I have plugged the micro filter into that to see if that works. The router and phone are also plugged into the micro filter so that should be good to go.

Is this a wireless device that gets this error when it tries to connect to its WiFi network?
Two diffrent laptops and my phone, all of which come back with the same message

Good morning,
Thank you. I've run a test on the line now which has detected a potential fault and the connection looks very unstable. Are you experiencing any issues with the voice service such as noise on the line or no dial tone?
Does your main socket also have a test socket please? If it does then would it be possible to connect the microfilter, router and phone directly at the test socket so we can re-run the line test again in this set up please?
Thanks
Michelle

What make/model of router do you have? Is this a wireless device that gets this error when it tries to connect to its WiFi network?
